Find out the directions to and from the airport by underground
With the opening of the new M4 subway stops "Tricolore" and "San Babila," the connection between Linate Airport and downtown Milan has been drastically optimized, allowing passengers to reach their destination in just 12 minutes.
The M4 subway is in service Monday through Sunday from 6:00 am to 12:30 am.
The NM4 line, in service during night time hours, replaces the M4 between the airport and San Babila from 00:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. Monday through Friday and on holidays, with the same timetable in the opposite direction as well.
On Saturday, the schedule varies from 00:30 to 5:30 from Linate and from 01:00 to 5:30 from San Babila.
Thanks to the integration with regional rail transport, guaranteed through the interchange with the rail link at Dateo and Forlanini stations, it is also possible to access Linate by train, offering a convenient and fast alternative to reach the airport.
In the coming months there will be technical tests on the entire infrastructure and circulation tests requested by the Ministry of Transport. During the test days, which can only be carried out in the absence of passengers, M4 will be closed and the trains will be replaced by buses.
In the months of May and June M4 will be closed and replaced by BM4 buses on the following days: 24, 25, 26 and 27 May 10 and 11 June.
