Milano Linate Night Run

During the night between 22 and 23 June, the first and only night run in Europe took place at an airport.

The first edition of the Milan Linate Night Run saw 2000 people check-in and run 10 km along the taxiways and take-offs in what has already been called the "race of the year".

The runners met at Milan Linate airport at 9.00 pm, to check-in and pick up the marathon vest. After completing the individual boarding operations, the participants headed to the Breda hangar to prepare for sports night, thanks to a unique and completely new concept.

With the departure of the last flight at 23.30 and after the necessary interventions to set up the runway for the race which officially started at 00.30.

The airport then returned operating at 06.30 with the first AZ300 morning flight to Paris.
